As our Utility Sales Director, you'll be responsible for developing a robust pipeline of new business and customers within the assigned territory. You'll apply a consultative sales approach to new and existing customers, identifying and influencing key utility decision-makers and stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate has 2-5 years of direct experience selling SaaS, services, and/or enterprise software. They've demonstrated success in sales for start-ups or new product lines in an existing company, thriving in an entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate will be a client advocate, developing deep relationships throughout an organization and meeting and/or exceeding sales and new business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a robust pipeline of new business and customers within the assigned territory.
  • Apply a consultative sales approach to new and existing customers.
  • Identify and influence key utility decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with senior executives to develop sales strategies and tactics to close business and build reference accounts.
  • Collaborate with other members of the sales, delivery, marketing, and product teams to exceed customer expectations and develop multi-year relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of direct experience selling SaaS, services, and/or enterprise software.
  • Successful track record of exceeding sales quotas and new business targets.
  • Track record of success in sales for start-ups or new product lines in an existing company.
  • Capable of identifying, reaching, and influencing key decision-makers, stakeholders, and industry influencers within targeted accounts and territory.
  • Demonstrated success working closely with senior executives to develop sales strategies and tactics to close business and build reference accounts.
