Traveling RN Case Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a Travel RN Case Manager position with one of our esteemed clients in Washington, DC.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide case management services to patients, utilizing their expertise in utilization and case management to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This is a 13-week contract assignment, with a 5x8 day shift schedule.
Responsibilities- Provide case management services to patients, adhering to policy and procedure.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Set priorities and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Maintain knowledge of billing, payor contracts, and reimbursement issues.
- Protect and advance patient interests, ensuring the highest level of care.
- Current state license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years hospital-based nursing experience, with a focus on utilization and case management.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within 30 days of hire.
