About the Role

This Surgical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, utilizing specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You'll shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
  • Documents patient care given and monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Collaborates with the care team to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or families and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
