As a Regional CDL Class A Driver at US Foods, Inc., you will play a vital role in delivering our products to customers across the region. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including a salary of $32.18 per hour (estimated), based on relevant experience and education. Job Description

This is a challenging role that requires a combination of driving skills, physical stamina, and excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safely operating a Class A CDL truck to deliver food products to customers in a timely manner
  • Verifying delivery accuracy with customers and obtaining proper signatures
  • Carefully unloading products from the trailer and placing them in designated customer storage areas
  • Handling collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Providing exceptional customer service to enhance our client experience

You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure efficient routing and scheduling. With a strong focus on safety, we expect all drivers to perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections and follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • At least six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
  • The ability to operate a manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
