About the PositionWe invite applications for part-time instructors in Sport Management. The successful candidate will teach one or more sport management course lecture sections meeting 3-4 hours per week for a semester.
Responsibilities- Teach sport management courses to undergraduate students, covering topics such as sports marketing, event management, and facility management.
- Assist students with their academic progress, providing guidance and support outside of the classroom.
- Create syllabi for each semester using learning outcome guidelines provided by the department.
- Administer and grade examinations and assignments, ensuring accurate and timely feedback.
- Manage online or paper grading systems, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Adhere to all applicable department, college, and university policies and procedures.
- A minimum of a Master's degree in Sport Management or a related field is required.
- Previous experience in Sport Management is preferred, as well as previous teaching experience.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
