Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paramedic Basic to join our team at American Medical Response (AMR) in Riverside, CA. As a Paramedic Basic, you will provide essential emergency medical services and advanced patient care in a professional and caring manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess situations to determine the best course of action and appropriate protocol.
  • Utilize medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced medical care.
  • Develop and utilize triage skills to optimize efficiency during calls.
  • Lift and move patients as required to provide optimal care.
  • Communicate with receiving facilities to receive medical direction and provide critical information.
Requirements:
  • State of California Paramedic License
  • CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY)
  • ACLS Card (American Heart Association ONLY)
  • PALS or PEPP certification (depending on location)
  • Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy
  • ICS courses (IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, and IS-800B)

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $27.91-$39.02 per hour, depending on experience. Bonus eligibility and additional benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401k, disability, FSA, HSA, EAP, vacation, and paid time off.
