We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Optum. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and operate related equipment with precision and accuracy.
- Obtain patient history, enter information into computer systems, and maintain accurate records.
- Stock medical and radiologic supplies, assist with accreditation processes, and maintain a clean and organized examination environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and employees, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography or sonography preferred.
- ARDMS certification and 2+ years of experience in ultrasonography required.
- Proven ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
