RN - Medication Assisted Opioid Treatment Program Nurse

Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medication Assisted Opioid Treatment Program. The selected individual will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough physical and mental assessments of patients
- Monitor and document patient symptoms
- Triage patient appointments with the prescriber
- Provide education to patients about the impact of opioid addiction on physical health
- Collaborate with case management and counseling staff to refer patients to medical care resources
- Administer medications and perform urine drug screens
- Assess patient service needs and capabilities
- Maintain thorough documentation of daily activities
- Attend and participate in staff meetings
- Respond to medical emergency situations
- Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Current license as a Registered Nurse issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia
