About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at SMSI. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ammonia production, processing, and safety management, contributing to the design, operation, and optimization of ammonia-related systems in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ammonia refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and associated equipment.
  • Oversee the installation of new refrigeration systems and modifications to existing systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare proposals and technical specifications for new projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration systems, including hands-on experience with system design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., R-22 or ammonia refrigeration certifications) is preferred.
