About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Pediatric Rehabilitation Specialist at Phoenix Children's Hospital.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Rehabilitation Specialist to provide physical therapy services to pediatric patients. As a member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with sensory-motor and musculoskeletal disorders, using exercise, heat, water, electricity, massage, light, and ultrasound as prescribed by a physician.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with sensory-motor and musculoskeletal disorders/delays, demonstrating knowledge of normal growth and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate services.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation in compliance with Joint Commission and CARF standards, including participation in Total Quality Management.
  • Organize, develop, implement, and coordinate motor performance of patient care with other disciplines within the hospital and resources within the community.
  • Build and maintain rapport within the department, hospital, and community, professionally interacting with physicians, families, and hospital/community personnel.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in pediatric rehabilitation and excellent communication skills. You should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
