Nursing Professional for Ambulatory Care

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a skilled Nursing Professional to join our team in an ambulatory care setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for attending to patients' nursing needs in a fast-paced office setting and over the phone. You will work closely with patients, families, and coworkers to provide compassionate and individualized care. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
- At least one year of relevant RN experience in a clinical area
- Two years of experience in a chosen clinical area preferred
- Wound Care Certification highly desirable, but not required (candidates without certification must become certified within one year of employment)
