About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Technician - Mechanic to join our team at Kingline Equipment Inc. This is a rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about maintaining and repairing heavy equipment.

Job Description
  • Repair and maintain tractors, compact construction equipment, mowers, small engines, and other related vehicles and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment efficiently, utilizing electronic service tools provided by the dealer.
  • Continually improve technical and product knowledge by attending training provided by dealership/manufacturer.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, improving and promoting quality, and monitoring own work to ensure quality.
  • Observe all safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly.
  • Contribute to building a positive team attitude with other departments in the organization.
  • Follow instructions and promptly respond to management direction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in heavy equipment repair preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a heavy equipment technician/mechanic; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs.
  • Good eyesight (correctable to 20/20) and normal hearing for diagnostics and troubleshooting equipment.
