Medical Records Specialist

We are seeking a Medical Records Technician to join our team at STGi. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, updating, and maintaining medical records for patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares and updates medical records for patients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintains appointment systems for patients and clinical staff.
- Tracks compliance with scheduled patient appointments and makes timely reminders.
- Determines coding for medical record forms and files/scans laboratory and radiology reports.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in a healthcare setting as a medical record technician or similar position.
- Ability to pass a federal government security background check.
