Factory Manager

KCO Resource Management seeks an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Delaware County NY. This dynamic role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production facility, ensuring efficient and effective processes are in place.

About the Job:

• Responsible for ensuring manufacturing performance, volume and quality goals are met by using efficient methods and maintaining appropriate staffing and labor cost levels.
• Oversight of the management and direction of the department.
• Ensures compliance with workplace and government-mandated standards (FDA, USDA, OSHA, etc.)
• Maintains all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory requirements.
• Provides direction, leadership, development and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, on-the-job assignments and continuous improvement projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Meet production schedules to achieve business goals.
2. Directs adjustments of manufacturing processes to maintain conformance with standards, specifications and customer requirements.
3. Analyzes manufacturing data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement; identifies methods to assure manufacturing processes are more efficient and effective (reducing waste, reducing labor costs, etc)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred
• 5+ years experience in Food/Beverage Manufacturing Industry required
• 6+ years leading direct reporting team members required.
• Ability to lead, coach, influence, motivate, develop engage and retain a large team of hourly associates required

Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000 per year
