ROLE SUMMARY

As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee at Covetrus, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of licensed pharmacists in dispensing medication for animal consumption. Under general supervision, you will work in accordance with standard departmental procedures to ensure the accurate and efficient dispensing of medication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dispense medication for animal consumption under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Support the company mission, vision, and values
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless medication dispensing
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State of Arizona

COMPETENCIES

• Basic math skills to accurately calculate medication dosages
• Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively as a team player
• Punctuality and low absenteeism
