Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group is seeking a full-time outpatient Alzheimer Disease/ Dementia Physician to join our established practice in Prescott, AZ.

This physician will work under the direction of the CMO to provide advanced training and experience in the diagnosis and management of memory loss, Alzheimer's Disease, and other related dementia disorders.

The key aspects of the dementia care role include prevention, the diagnostic process, communication of the diagnosis to the patient, and post-diagnosis management.

Our Community:

Prescott, AZ is a charming mountain community located within 1.5 hours of a major metropolitan area. The town offers a rich history, charming shops and boutiques, and a wide range of outdoor activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient population: Geriatric/ Dementia Patients
  • Work shift: 10 hours per day (4 days per week) or 8 hours per day (5 days per week)
  • Provider will have 4 hours of administrative time per week
  • Daily patient volume: 15-18 patients per day

Qualifications:

  • BC/BE in Neurology, Geriatrician, Geriatric Psychiatry, Family Medicine
  • Industry-sponsored clinical trial experience
  • Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer's Disease
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid state medical license as MD or DO
  • Valid DEA certificate
  • New graduates considered

Pay Range: $114.35 - $141.81 /hour
