About the Role

Metrolina Nephrology Associates is a leading private practice nephrology group seeking a highly skilled Transplant Nephrologist to join our team. As a key member of our transplant program, you will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to patients with kidney disease who require a kidney transplant.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients to determine their suitability for kidney transplantation
• Coordinating with transplant surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
• Managing post-transplant care to ensure optimal outcomes for patients
• Staying up-to-date with current evidence-based practices in Transplant Nephrology

Requirements

• Medical degree and completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Nephrology
• Fellowship training in Transplant Nephrology
• Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology and Transplant Nephrology
• Experience in managing kidney transplant patients, including pre- and post-transplant care
• Strong knowledge of current evidence-based practices in Transplant Nephrology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
• Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
