About this role

PACU nurses, also known as recovery room nurses, play a vital role in the healthcare system. They care for patients who are recovering from anesthesia after surgery, monitoring their vital signs, assessing their levels of consciousness, and observing them for any side effects from anesthesia.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 1-2 years of recent experience in the primary area of care, an active license or accreditation in one of the 50 US states, and additional requirements and certifications as requested by the specific facility or unit. You will also need to have an enthusiastic and adventurous spirit with a desire to help others.

Responsibilities:

As a travel nurse, you will work for a limited amount of time at a particular location, providing patient care and support before moving on to your next adventure. You will need to be an experienced caregiver who adapts quickly to change and enjoys learning new things. You will take your skills on the road and explore new places, all while earning a great living.
