  • Job Summary
  • We are seeking an experienced pain psychologist to join the UCSF Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for caring for complex chronic pain patients and experience in multi-disciplinary environments.

  • Responsibilities
    • Conduct intake evaluations and assessments to determine the appropriateness of neuromodulation for patients

    • Develop and lead individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients with pain

    • Design and implement innovative new clinical care models for pain management

  • Qualifications
    • Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field

    • Completion of postdoctoral training in health psychology

    • Licensed to practice in California

  • The successful candidate will work as part of a team emphasizing high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on evidence-based medicine. The position includes a minimum base salary range of $118,000 - $309,800 and membership in the health sciences compensation plan.
