Enrichment Program Instructor

Cobb County School District seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Enrichment Program Instructor to join our team in the Alternative Education Programs department. As an instructor, you will play a vital role in providing enriching activities for students outside of regular school hours.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The pay grade for this position is ASP4, with a schedule based on the ASP Salary Schedule.

Job Description:

We are looking for an individual who can develop and implement engaging enrichment activities that cater to the diverse needs of our students. As an Enrichment Program Instructor, your primary function will be to provide instructional enrichment activities for students, focusing on activities not typically taught in school.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Level: A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Certification/License Required: A Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate is preferred; Must be certified in CPR and First Aid.
• Experience: None required.
• Physical Activities: Routine physical activities are required to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Oral and written communication, instructional strategies, student management, and knowledge of site safety procedures.

Essential Duties:

1. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance.
2. Develop, plan, and implement enrichment activities for students.
3. Submit activity plans to the ASP Director.
4. Coordinate with the ASP Director and Bookkeeper to request permission for supply purchases.
5. Follow daily time schedules as assigned by the ASP Director.
6. Follow site safety procedures.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.

Work Environment:

This part-time position requires flexible scheduling, including working afternoons and evenings. The shift type is Part-Time, with start and end times of 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, respectively. The job category is After School Program.
