Job Summary

MEI Rigging & Crating is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Administrator-AR-Coppell, TX to lead our regional office accounting process. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for Accounts Receivable invoicing, Accounts Payable, project accounting, and job costing. If you have a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Accounts Receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, proper coding, collections, and reducing AR aging days.
  • Manage project accounting, utilizing software to track job costing and utilization data, with a focus on margin analysis.
  • Support job-related AP processes, including purchasing, credit cards, procurement coding, and vendor invoices.
  • Work with project managers to ensure they have the necessary data to effectively manage their projects.
  • Understand the entire company operations process from quote to invoice, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Effective customer management, including reviewing customer setup, contracts, purchase orders, and master service contracts.
  • Review and process lien waivers/releases.
  • Ability to work in multiple systems/spreadsheets to track project costs.
Requirements
  • Accounting degree or combination of education and experience demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of CCIP, ROCIP, certified payroll/prevailing wages, and AIA forms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of employee and customer information.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under deadlines.
