Sales Training and Development Director

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Program Manager to lead our Sales Training and Development efforts in Austin, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs to enhance the sales team's skills and performance.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements and skill gaps within the sales team.
- Design and develop structured training curricula that align with company sales goals and objectives.
- Create engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, SOPs, e-learning modules, and role-plays relevant to training objectives.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, role-plays, and meetings for sales personnel at various levels.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments for improvement.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- An associate's degree and minimum 4 years of experience in sales, sales training, sales management, or other related roles.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or other related roles.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Knowledge of medical devices and healthcare industry standards.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging training materials.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Knowledge of the MLR review process.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training software is a plus.
