Automotive Reconditioning Specialist

Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect and analyze vehicles to determine necessary repairs
  • Perform reconditioning tasks to prepare vehicles for sale
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts
  • Examine vehicles for additional safety and service work
  • Notify the service advisor of any additional work required or repairs that cannot be completed within the specified timeframe
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed
  • Road-test vehicles when necessary and refer to the test technician
  • Ensure the shop area is clean and organized
  • Familiarize yourself with company safety policies and procedures and report any accidents to a manager or supervisor
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Complete background screening
  • Provide government I-9 requirements
  • A combination of education, experience, and training is preferred
