Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Psychologist Position with U of L Physicians

We are seeking a highly skilled Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Psychologist to join our team at U of L Physicians. As a key member of our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, you will provide psychological evaluation, assessment, and treatment to patients with spinal cord injuries.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an APA-approved program, including an APA-approved clinical internship. A Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology who is licensed as a Psychological Practitioner in KY will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely psychological evaluations and assessments using evidence-based techniques and measures.
- Integrate assessment findings into the unique plan of care in the rehabilitation setting and effectively communicate impressions and recommendations to the treatment team and referring providers.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that outline specific, reasonable goals relevant to the patient's rehabilitation needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team to provide comprehensive care to patients with spinal cord injuries.
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an APA-approved program.
- APA-approved clinical internship required.
- Licensed as a Psychological Practitioner in KY (for candidates with a Master's degree).
- Board eligibility for certification in Rehabilitation or Health Psychology preferred.
- Experience in a hospital setting treating patients with chronic health and neurological problems preferred.
