Carpentry Specialist

Job Summary

At Bizon Group Inc., we are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for cutting, fabricating, and installing wooden and other structures according to specifications. Your work will involve working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and drawings to determine the structural dimensions of the framework to be constructed
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements
• Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible
• Installing doors, windows, trim, and other finishing elements with exceptional attention to detail

Requirements

• Proven experience as carpenter
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Ability to take accurate measurements and calculations
• Completion of formal apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
• Good knowledge of English and basic math
