Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide essential care to patients through the application of the nursing process. You will work collaboratively with various healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Your role involves effective communication with patients and their families, while adhering to the standards of professional nursing practice. Registered Nurses offer personalized nursing care tailored to each patient's unique needs, utilizing established scientific nursing principles.

Registered Nurses are expected to engage in committee work, participate in surveys, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Furthermore, it is essential to comply with the standards set forth by the Texas Nurse Practice Act.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Educational Background

Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Experience

No prior experience is necessary.

Licenses and Certifications

Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license.

CPR-BCLS certification is required prior to the end of orientation.

ACLS certification is required prior to the end of orientation.

NIH Stroke Scale certification is required prior to the end of orientation.

Essential Skills and Competencies

Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Ability to operate therapeutic equipment effectively.

Proficient in data entry and management using computer systems.

Strong understanding of the nursing process and ability to provide care in accordance with established standards.

Capability to manage confidential information responsibly.
