Supervisor Opportunity in Construction Division

This role is approximately 60% in the field/outdoors and 40% in the office. As a Supervisor in our Construction division, you'll be responsible for the safety, reliability, security, and integrity of the gas distribution system. You'll supervise internal and contracted personnel to ensure efficient and cost-effective completion of work within the area of responsibility.

Key Accountabilities
  • Supervise internal and contracted personnel to assure efficient and cost-effective completion of work within the area of responsibility.
  • Provide emergency response and supervision of personnel engaged in a 24/7 operation.
  • Supervise a culturally diverse workforce through coaching and team building to ensure tasks are carried out in an efficient manner.
  • Oversee the operational workload of the team to ensure allocated resources are fully utilized to deliver against agreed-upon work plans and execute work activities within planned unit and budget cost.
  • Ensure supervised teams comply with safety standards, policies, and processes to ensure a safe working environment and minimize risk for all staff.
  • Execute all work tasks in compliance with all Company, Federal, and State policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage performance metrics for group and individual performance.
Supervisory/Interpersonal Experience Required
  • Strong leadership, influencing, customer orientation, and communication skills, providing the ability to promote team working and harmonious working between site staff, project teams, and contractors.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related area, and/or 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Committed to 'on the job' training programs with practical experience of methods, processes, and techniques relevant to the area or discipline.
  • Supervisory experience, preferably in utilities, construction, or plumbing, strongly preferred.

Salary Range: $101,000 - $119,000

Please note that this position is subject to federal Drug & Alcohol safety regulations governing US Department of Transportation (DOT) covered positions. As such, the Company's testing programs and policies regarding the use of federally prohibited drugs or alcohol will remain in effect for these safety-sensitive, DOT covered positions.

This position has a career path that provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise, and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
