Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist with dialysis treatments, including setup, operation, and maintenance of dialysis machines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient education and training on dialysis procedures, medication management, and self-care techniques.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
  • Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
