STEAM Instructor

Snapology LLC is a leading provider of STEAM education programs for children. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced STEAM Instructor to join our team.

The STEAM Instructor will be responsible for leading groups of students through curriculum-guided activities, instructing and monitoring students in the use of learning materials and equipment, and maintaining discipline in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment.

• Lead groups of students through curriculum-guided activities
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
• Maintain discipline in the classroom
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students
• Prepare for each program by reading curriculum and watching training videos
• Handle inquiries from parents regarding Snapology programs
• Encourage students and parents to enroll in future Snapology programs

• Criminal and child clearances must be current
• 2 or more years of experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment
• Education degree or teaching experience recommended
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

• Weekday after-school and/or evening classes
• Weekend workshops and/or birthday parties
• Summer camps
• Special events, holiday, and break workshops

This is a part-time position, with the opportunity to work between 6-30 hours per week. Compensation is $16-$20/hour.
