IT Training Specialist

JCTM is a leading provider of training services to the U.S. Department of State (DoS). We are seeking a highly skilled IT Training Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will provide standards, services, and guidance on IT-related training programs that enable government agency personnel to use information technologies and systems more productively. This includes developing, delivering, and coordinating training courses and materials that address specific agency needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough training needs analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Review and revise existing training materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with 508 standards.
- Maintain policy and standards for training throughout the development process.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop training content.
- Coordinate training activities according to established training programs.
- Manage multiple training projects simultaneously, successfully organizing, planning, and executing small-scale training projects from vision through implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or Information Technology OR relevant IT certifications.
- At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology, with a strong focus on training and development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and effective decision-making skills.
- Possess thorough knowledge of appropriate hardware and software, including PCs, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we also offer a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with company match.
