Job Summary:">

The Staff LPN Ambulatory is a vital member of the BJC Medical Group team, providing direct patient care under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider in an ambulatory care setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities
  • Provides general nursing services to patients under the supervision of a physician or other licensed provider within the scope of practice for the LPN.
  • Follows HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, Medication Management and Infection Prevention procedures for cleaning and sterilization of equipment and/or instruments.
  • Performs clinical skills, such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point of care testing and medication administration.
  • Assists with medical office procedures.
  • Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains accurate and prompt charting in the patient's record.
  • Triage calls, provide test and lab results to patients and present relevant information to provider with correct medical terminology.
Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
