At Precision Strip, a leading toll processor in the nation, we strive to excel every day. As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will be part of our team that travels to various locations across 15 sites to install, assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain metal processing equipment.

This position is based out of our Minster, OH location.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Operation: Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure installation and operations meet industry standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Use hand or power tools to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical system issues.
  • Maintenance: Operate cranes, forklifts, and hoists to safely perform maintenance tasks.
  • Repair Services: Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
  • Fabrication: Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks, including layout, cutting, bending, drilling.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Safety Focus: Ability to produce high-quality work while ensuring safe working practices.
  • Reading Comprehension: Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprint readings, etc.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel 50% of the time to various locations on a Monday-Thursday schedule (5am-5pm).
  • Critical Thinking: Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
