About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Safety and Health Professional to join our team at TechFlow, Inc.

Job Summary

This role involves ensuring compliance with government contract safety regulations and industry standards. You will be responsible for managing employee work-related injuries, developing procedures to mitigate the risk of employee injury and illness, and conducting workplace inspections to minimize or eliminate hazards.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of multi-state safety rules and laws, as well as experience in conducting formal and informal audits and inspections. They will also be responsible for ensuring all employees receive adequate and effective safety and health training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Compliance: Review and interpret safety regulations and orders from OSHA, EPA, USACE, AFOSH, and other federal agencies to ensure uniform interpretation and compliance procedures.
  • Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections of workplaces to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents, as well as safety training and certifications.
  • Crisis Management: Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop plans to prevent future occurrences.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in safety, occupational health, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of safety enforcement experience, with certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar designation.
  • Certifications: EM-385-40 certification, OSHA 30 training, and 24 hours of continuing education.
  • Licenses: Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain and maintain access to military installations.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, life insurance, and paid time off.
