Phlebotomy Specialist

At Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, we are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
Collect blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing
Enter billing information and collect payment when required
Coach, mentor, and instruct new employees
Travel to additional doctor's office or Patient Service Center sites when needed

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
Phlebotomy certification preferred
Five years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Minimum 3 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
