Nurse Specialist in Critical Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Cleveland Clinic Martin Health's Tradition Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who have a passion for helping others and would like to advance their career within our teaching units.
About the RoleAs a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing patient care through the application of sound Nursing Practice procedures and practices. Your primary duties will include assessing patients' condition, pain levels, and problems; performing admissions assessments; and prioritizing and documenting patient problems based on assessed needs/problems in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Provides patient care through the application of sound Nursing Practice procedures and practices.
- Performs accurate and complete admission assessments within defined time frames.
- Assesses and documents patients' pain levels utilizing appropriate protocols.
- Prioritizes and documents patient problems based on assessed needs/problems in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
- Establishes and implements plan of care in collaboration with other disciplines that promotes wellness and facilitates the discharge process.
- Monitors and documents patients' condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care and/or interventions.
- Evaluates, updates, and revises plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) completed within last year, required.
- Minimum two years recent experience in Critical Care.
The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
