Job Overview

Control Devices LLC is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Fenton, MO. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for machining components using a variety of CNC lathes and mills, following documented procedures, including safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.
  • Use precision measuring devices to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Work from drawings with minimal supervision, understanding G and M codes.
  • Set and sharpen tools, troubleshoot machines, and perform minor repairs.
  • Responsible for the quality of parts produced, meeting production standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong math skills, ability to read blueprints and technical information.
  • Must be able to lift 35lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Attention to detail, ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Self-directed, taking initiative to learn new skills and maintain machines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of CNC experience.
  • Familiarity with HAAS, Okuma, and/or MAZAK CNC machine centers.
  • Experience with CNC lathes, Davenport, or ACME desired.
