Job Summary:

As a Nursing Assistant at Essentia Health, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to patients and contributing to their safety and comfort. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with personal hygiene care, nutritional needs, and comfort care, while maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with nutritional needs, including feeding and hydration
Provide comfort care, including emotional support and reassurance
Safely transfer patients and take vital signs
Recognize and report changes in patient condition to the RN
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients

Requirements:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
Strong commitment to patient-centered care
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
