The Blackburn Center
We are seeking a Medical Doctor, Naturopathic Doctor, Doctor of Osteopathy, Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care department at the Blackburn Center. This is a unique opportunity to work in an integrated setting, providing primary, urgent, and acute care to low-income adults with diverse physical, behavioral, and social conditions.
Responsibilities
- Providing Quality Care
- Determine and formulate health histories and perform physical exams
- Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems
- Develop and implement person-centered care plans based on available clinical data
Specialized Services
- Medication Supported Recovery (MSR) services through CCC's M3 program, a low-barrier buprenorphine/naloxone program for opioid use disorder treatment
- Hepatitis C treatment through our pharmacy-based Hep C Treatment Program
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited medical school or equivalent experience as a licensed healthcare professional
- Minimum 2 years of experience in primary care medicine
- Experience working with homeless and underserved populations preferred

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassion and empathy for individuals experiencing complex health issues
Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is $135,000-$231,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off, and a 403(b) retirement savings plan with employer match.
