Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Hearthside Food Solutions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and control production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve overall productivity.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and materials as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of improving productivity, quality, and safety in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced production environment, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods is also required.
