Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. As a key member of our critical care department, you will be responsible for providing advanced respiratory care services to patients in high-acuity settings.

About the Role:

  • Perform complex respiratory procedures, including intubation, pulmonary diagnostics, and bronchoscopy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental goals.
  • Mentor and educate junior staff members on best practices and new technologies.

Requirements:

  • Degree from an approved education program in respiratory care.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, with at least 2 years in critical care.
  • Licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Salary:$64,900 - $91,600 per year, depending on experience.
