Job Description

At Another Chance Programs, we are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Support Specialist to work with our youth in a group home setting. As a Behavioral Health Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in cultivating connections with our clients, teaching personal responsibility, and serving as a mentor and role model. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our youth and contribute to their growth and development.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct services to individuals, including outreach and engagement, linkage to community supports, transportation, and group facilitation.
  • Work independently with flexibility and within prescribed guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients and their families.
  • Collaborate with our team to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED with some knowledge of behavioral health work.
  • Qualifying driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Certification of CPR and First Aid Training.
  • Fingerprint clearance issued by Arizona Department of Public Safety or eligible to receive within two (2) weeks of hire.
  • Pass a Criminal Background check.
