Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnography Specialist to join our sleep care team at ProMedica Memorial Hospital in Fremont, Ohio. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will work under the general supervision of the clinical director (MD) or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, or patient care and education.
Key Responsibilities- Provides age-appropriate care to all children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients/clients/families served in a manner that embodies body, mind, and spirit
- Employs critical thinking skills and sound judgment in all aspects of care, making modifications in patient care based on evaluation and continuing assessments
- Performs all interventions/procedures within job scope and specific field of specialty in accordance with standards of care, policies & procedures, regulatory guidelines, and role-specific competencies
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Skills: Demonstrates skills for solving problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization may not always exist
- License: RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist; registration may be obtained within 6 months of hire through completion of the A-Step online modules, a CAAHCP-accredited Sleep Training Program, an Electro Neuro Diagnostic Program, or a Respiratory Therapy add-on Track for Sleep Technology
