Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a team of car wash professionals who deliver exceptional customer service and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of car wash professionals to achieve business metrics and service standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer service and implement changes to enhance the customer experience.
  • Motivate and coach the car wash team to achieve their best performance and provide corrective action as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and foster a positive work environment that encourages open and honest dialogue, feedback, and innovation.
  • Assist the General Manager in achieving sales targets and operational budget costs.
  • Maintain quality control of cars coming out of the tunnel and ensure correct chemical usage and equipment maintenance and repair needs.
  • Serve as the first line of escalation to resolve customer service issues and notify the General Manager of reports of damage and other customer service-related issues.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of cash deposits collected from point of sale machines.
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and safe facility and assist in creating the weekly schedule for all employees.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory experience role.
  • Basic math skills and basic computer skills.
Working Conditions
  • The position requires the ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as walking, standing, bending, stooping, and handling of tools/materials as well as lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • The position requires the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The Assistant Manager position works in all types of weather conditions and requires the availability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
