About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with the surgical team to provide direct patient care and optimize positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgeon and surgical team during procedures, providing the necessary sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment.
  • Maintain proper sterile technique during procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of a surgical technology program accredited by the CAAHEP or ABHES, and active certification by the NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
