Penn Highlands Healthcare is seeking a seasoned Regional Medical Director of Oncology to lead our innovative hematology and oncology care team.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a comprehensive healthcare system that offers a wide range of services, including immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and blood cancer management.
Clinical Details:
- Collaborate with a team of 4 hematology-oncology physicians and 7 advanced practice providers to deliver outstanding, multidisciplinary care to patients.
- Manage a workload split between clinical and administrative responsibilities.
- Board certification in hematology and oncology is required.
- Regular site visits to all locations within a 30-minute drive from Penn Highlands Dubois are expected.
Administrative Details:
- Previous Medical Director experience is mandatory, with 5-10 years of experience preferred.
- Lead the oncology services team and oversee system/region oncology services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Interface with all departments within and outside of oncology, physicians, and staff across the Penn Highlands system.
