We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Growth Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving business growth and development by building strong relationships with Fortune 1000 and Global 500 companies.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to leverage their expertise in identifying and qualifying opportunities, developing trusted customer relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

As a Strategic Business Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for executing total sales strategies to move targeted prospects to active opportunities, while positioning Staples Technology Solutions as the preferred solution for decision makers and influencers within IT and Procurement departments of target companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pursue aggressive targeted Enterprise accounts with designated territories
  • Prepare for consultative engagement with prospects through diligent and thorough research, demonstrating knowledge of prospective customers' industries and specific business issues and challenges facing them
  • Collaborate effectively with Staples office products Key Account Managers, Business Development Executives, and other Staples Category sales teams to secure contractual relationships in the technology category
  • Work with Sales Support Team to improve customer response times
  • Provide input to sales leadership on new potential programs and initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with C-Level executives within our customer base, prospects, and vendor partners at a senior executive level
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3+ years of demonstrated successful strategic relationship-building and solution-selling experience in the Fortune 1000 and/or Global 500 market
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Mastery in developing trusted customer relationships up to C-level
  • Ability to use internal resources such as Marketing, Technology Experts, Services, and others

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
