We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Diver to join our team at Atlantic Pipe Services. As a key member of our pipeline cleaning, video inspection, and rehabilitation operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our services.
As an Underwater Diver, your primary responsibilities will include inspecting, repairing, and installing equipment below the surface of water. You will also be responsible for installing and removing large diameter pipe plugs, pipeline dredging (debris removal), and pipeline assessment (navigating submerged pipes to assess condition).
In addition to these core duties, you will be required to perform data entry tasks, including daily logs, tracking information from job sites, issues encountered, and so on. Your supervisory skills will also be put to use as you oversee and train helpers to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in diving certifications, medical certificates, and comfortable working in confined spaces. A friendly and professional attitude, clean driving history, high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to work in various weather conditions are also essential requirements.
