This role is perfect for a registered nurse (RN) with state licensure and at least 15 months of relevant experience in ambulatory nursing. BLS/ACLS/PALS certification is also required. Certification in a specialty is preferred but not necessary. A diploma or ASN from an accredited school of nursing is the minimum educational requirement.

In this position, you will provide individualized patient care through the application of the nursing process, focusing on expanding your knowledge and skills necessary to deliver age-appropriate care. You will work closely with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Evaluating and integrating best current evidence with clinical expertise and patient preferences to deliver optimal healthcare
  • Maintaining a safe environment by minimizing risk of harm to patients, families, providers, and yourself
  • Demonstrating professionalism through lifelong learning, adherence to ANA's Code of Ethics, participation in a professional organization, and community outreach
  • Providing person-centered care by recognizing patients as the source of control and collaborating with them to deliver compassionate and coordinated care
  • Effectively collaborating and applying systems thinking to engage in systematic problem-solving and decision-making
  • Utilizing information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision-making
  • Engaging in teamwork to provide safe, quality outcomes for patients within inter and intra-professional teams
