Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide support and advocacy to our clients, promoting their independence and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish meaningful relationships with clients to ensure effective instruction, support, and service delivery.
  • Assist clients in developing basic living skills, adapting to the community environment, and establishing supportive relationships within the community.
  • Provide personal care assistance, home management, meal planning, shopping, and health maintenance support as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in providing exceptional care.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 18 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens/Food Handlers Card.
  • Nursing Assistant Registration (NAR).
  • The ability to proficiently read, write, and communicate.
  • A valid state driver's license with no restrictions, proof of good driving record, and insurance through our provider.
  • A DSHS background check and fingerprint clearance.
  • The ability to physically transfer, assist with transfers, and/or lift clients who require physical assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with peers and management.

Compensation Details

Estimated annual salary: $44,000 - $50,500, based on a 40-hour workweek at $21.12-$24.49 per hour.
