About the Position

The Cook will provide exceptional service and consistent products in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role will assist the kitchen staff with daily upkeep of the facility's kitchen(s) in Catering and Concessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cook and prepare food to meet quality and quantity standards
  • Serve food in proper pre-determined portion sizes and at the correct temperature
  • Maintain appearance of all equipment and serving counters
  • Manage inventory in the stock room
  • Clean kitchen area before and after business hours
  • Assist in venue distribution/warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers, and minor equipment maintenance
Requirements
  • Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with patrons
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and teamwork
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals that must be handled with caution
  • Work in outside weather conditions and be exposed to hot, wet, and humid conditions
  • Significant standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
  • Will be required to operate a computer
  • Facility has intermittent noise
